Eugene left this world on September 3, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugenio Casarez and Dolores Casarez. He is survived by: his wife Juanita; his children, Eva, Jaime and Joaquin; his grandchildren, Cecilia, Amelia, Guadalupe (Lupita), Patricia, Lupe (Diego), Matthew, Jay (Jeremy), Jaime II, Brianna, Richard and Savannah; his brother John (Josie); and his aunt Angie Guiterrez. He is also survived by 21 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A rosary was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4031 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, MI 49509). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Church (4101 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, MI 49509).
