She was predeceased by: her husband Philip; her stepson Phil Florip; and her siblings, Martin, Walter, Earl Merz, Flora Damaske, Esther Soderstrom and Gertrude Wright.
She is survived by: her sister Vera Reither; her sisters-in-law, Glennice Merz and LuAnn Merz; her stepdaughter Pam Gattinger (Grant); and her stepgrandchildren, Sara and Steve Vickruck. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. James Lutheran Church (2040 Oakwood Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
