She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon. She is survived by: her children, Douglas Ballast, Dawn Baker (Randy), Dave Ballast (Jamie) and Dorie Boomsma (Ted); her sister Marilyn Emelander; and her sisters-in-law, Linda VandenBerg, Christine Jensen (Donald) and Betty Richardson (Darl). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in memory of Von may be made to Holland Home.
