He was predeceased by: his parents, Isabelle M. Gould (Dease) and William H. M. Gould. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Nicolls Gould; and his children, Shelley Gould Volkert (R. Scott Volkert) and Chad Gould (Jennifer Knapp Gould).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Albion College Fund in honor of Dr. Gould's enduring connection to the institution that helped shape his life and values.
