He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jo Pesano. He is survived by: his daughter Julia Scholtens (Jeff); his grandchildren, Kendall and Brandon; his great grandchild Geoffrey Burbridge (Davin); and his stepdaughters, Laura White, Anna Curran and Sara Pesano Murphy.
