Geneva Dykstra Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geneva Dykstra (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on December 27, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Geneva Dykstra to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerrit Benthem and Grace Benthem; and her siblings-in-law, Bernie (Jerry Knight), Ray and Mae Dykstra.

She is survived by: her siblings, Hilbert, Edwin, Andrew Benthem, Fenna, Annie, Sarah, Frances and Gertrude; her husband Herm Dykstra (Herm); her children, Duane (Pamela), Christian and Pamela; her son-in-law Gary Meengs; her grandchildren, Chris, Tracy Meengs, Jon, Sara Meengs, Mark, Kate Meengs (Joannie), Kerin and Eric Koelewyn; Evelyn Benthem, Trina Benthem, Ray DeBoer, Pete VanHouten, Percy Hoekwater and Stewart Ellens. She is also survived by the children after her mother.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial contribution to Grandville Calvin Christian High School.
