He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt Shepard and Irene Shepard. He is survived by: his wife Julie (Whalen); and his children, Jerry (Kathryn), Edward (Christie), Kim Guinn (Jeff) and Kristie Andrus (Aaron). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
