He was predeceased by: his father Rev. Gise Van Baren; his mother-in-law Carole Faye Korhorn; and his brother-in-law Roderick Korhorn. He is survived by: his wife Heidi Van Baren; his children, Molly, Nathan VanderWoude, Melissa Van Baren and Jeremy Van Baren; his mother Clara Van Baren; his siblings, John (Valerie Van Baren), Carolyn (Robert Prins), Marilyn (Michael Van Overloop), Denise Haan, Daniel (Sheryl Van Baren), Philip (Patricia Van Baren) and Rachel (Aric Bleyenberg); his father-in-law Ivan Korhorn; and his siblings-in-law, Dean, Mary Korhorn, Stephen, Sandra Korhorn, Karen Korhorn and Barry Korhorn.
