She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas E. Gee Sr. and Merle Gee (Sabin); her husband Gilbert Bartaway Jr. (Street Methodist Church); her daughter Rebecca J. Karwoski (Niles); and her siblings, Elsworth, Thomas E. "Eddie" Jr., John, Ernest, Charles, Everett "Rod", Donald, William, Richard, Gertrude Morse (Gee) and Thelma Johnson (Gee).
She is survived by: her children, Ronald G. Bartaway (Christine), Ruthann M. Swisher and Ryan G. Bartaway (Donna); and her sister Katelou Hole (Gee). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren.
