He is survived by: his wife Evonne "Von"; his children, Doug Ballast (Gwen), Dawn Baker (Randy), Dave Ballast (Jamie) and Dorie Boomsma (Ted); his sisters, Christine Jensen (Donald) and Betty Richardson (Darl); and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Emelander and Linda VandenBerg. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in honor of Gordon may be made to Holland Home.
