It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Werkema of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on March 26, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Susan Gwen Werkema; and his siblings, Jack, Esther (Vanden Berg), Lorraine (Bawden) and Nelson.

He is survived by: his wife Jacklyn; his children, Nancy Lynn Haas, Gordon R. G. Werkema, Mark A. Werkema and Joel Werkema; and his siblings, Jeanne Van Houten and David Werkema. He is also survived by his brother- and sisters-in-law; and by many nieces and nephews.
