He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia DeMeester-Trowbridge; his daughter Katherine Trowbridge; his parents, James Trowbridge and Verneal Lamb-Trowbridge-Winnell; and his brother Benjamin Trowbridge.
He is survived by: his sons, David Trowbridge (Valerie) and Brian Trowbridge (Aria); his grandchildren, Sylvia, Veda, Guinevere "Evvie" and D. Havelock Trowbridge; and his siblings, James Trowbridge (Penny), Ronald Trowbridge (Janet), Dianne Trowbridge-McCord and Susan Trowbridge-Maerz (Siegfried). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family, and many wonderful friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home (3980 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546).
