With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gretchen A. Zuiderveen (Grand Rapids, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 7, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Heerema and Thelma Heerema. She is survived by: her siblings, Norman, Allen and Susan; her husband George Zuiderveen; her children, Joshua (Abby) and Jessica Colton (Brian); her grandchildren, Darby and Gray; and her children, Theo and Reid. She is also survived by other moms.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Fountain Street Church, The Rogue River Watershed Partners, or the River City Wild Ones.
