She was predeceased by: her husband James R. Reid Sr.; and her siblings, Sadie Williams, Marie Lewis, Willie Arnold, Dorothy Minter and Willie C. Monroe.

She is survived by: her brother Clarence Arnold (Floria); and her children, Joyce, Terri, David, James Jr. and Melisha. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great grand children, and one great-great granddaughter, cousins, a host of nieces and nephews.
