With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Harry Vredevoogd of Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dora Vredevoogd (Westmaas) and Cornelius Vredevoogd; and his siblings, Clarence Vredevoogd, Gert Winkle, Dennis Vredevoogd, Wilfred Vredevoogd, Marvin Vredevoogd and Esther Schepers.
He is survived by: his children, Scott, Betsy Vredevoogd, Kris Vredevoogd (Dana Bailey), Jackie DeArmond (Bryan Tebo), Sheri Vredevoogd, Suzi and Chris Taggart; and his siblings, Jack Vredevoogd (Lois), Peggy Vredevoogd, Sandy Vredevoogd, Calvin Vredevoogd (Jan) and Larry Vredevoogd (Phyllis). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Stroo Funeral Home (1095 68th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508). A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
