With solemn reverence, we commemorate Heidi Hertel (Grand Rapids, Michigan), whose life came to an end on May 22, 2026 at the age of 57, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Heidi may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Heidi touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her sons, Garrett Vonk (Natacha Joyce) and Gavin Vonk; her grandsons, Miles and James Vonk; her siblings, Shareen Hertel (Donald Swinton) and Joseph Hertel (Donna Hertel); and her nieces and nephews, Tessa, Commodore Hertel and Josephine Swinton.
