With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Ilene Kersjes of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on October 25, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Francis Kersjes; and her brother Gordan Slater. She is survived by: her children, David Kersjes of Michael Kersjes, M. D., Paula Kersjes, Daniel and Jill Kersjes. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Faith Hospice or Salvation Army.
