With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Kowalewski of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on January 20, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Burt Firlik and Anna Firlik; and her husband Alfred Kowalewski. She is survived by: her sons, Dan Kowalewski (Lori) and Ted Kowalewski (Karen); her grandchildren, Ren, Mike Brace, Anna, Shaun Giller, Kevin, Katie Kowalewski, Kelsey and Dave Stockton (Sloane); and her sister Virginia Williams. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
