He was predeceased by: his father Dr. Theodore Minnema; and his mother-in-law Alberta VanElst. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Minnema; his children, Crystal Gumbs (Gabriel), Shelby Minnema and Dalton H. Minnema; his mother Tena Minnema; his brothers, Tom Minnema (Sondra), Ted Minnema (Courtney) and Rick Minnema (Vivian); and his siblings-in-law, Pamela Rolfe (Claude) and Edward Goldammer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and friends.
