He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert J. Adams and Norene Adams (Hoffman); his stepfather Wilden "Rocky" Rockafield (Annie); and his stepbrother Robert Rockafield. He is survived by: his wife Anna Mae "Annie" Kelly; his daughter Sheila Everest (Sidney) of Marshall; his grandchildren, Leigh, Katie, Todd and Erin; his son Phillip (Pamela) of Battle Creek; his granddaughter Marci; his children, Vickie Culver (Craig) of Grand Haven and Lynn Fitzgerald (Scott) of Zeeland; and his grandchildren, Kobe and Chase. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and 4 nieces and nephews.
