Hotze Ybe Rusticus Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hotze Ybe Rusticus in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on January 15, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ybe Rusticus and Ruth Rusticus; his brother Frans (Frank); his sisters-in-law, Agnes and Delores Rusticus; his son Gary Rusticus; and his granddaughters, Kayla, Tonya, Theressa and Tiffany.

He is survived by: his wife Delores; his brothers, Eilof (Al), Robert (Bob), Nicolaas (Peter), Eduard (Ed) and Roland; his daughter-in-law Vicki Rusticus-Cole; and his children, Tim Rusticus (Barb), Mike Rusticus and Linda Lamer (Bob). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In leu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to either Emanuel Hospice or to another charity of your choice.
