He was predeceased by: his son Matthew; and his parents, Gerald Hudson and Alice Hudson. He is survived by: his wife Debra; his children, Shannon Jeltema (Mike) and Jack Hudson, Jr. (Heather); his grandchildren, Shaun, Braden, Zander, Cistle, Logan and Kaden; his siblings, Randy Hudson, Jerry Hudson (Sheri), Brian Hudson and Alice Hudson; and his siblings-in-law, Dan Quillin, Dave Quillin, Denise Duke, Doug Quillin, Don Quillin and Dianne Quillin.

A reception will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the American Legion (133 44th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49548).

Memorial contributions may be made in honor of his son, Matt, to the American Heart Association.
