With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jack Roger Heeres (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on December 7, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Heeres and Fannie Heeres; his grandson Logan Heeres Knibbe; his sister Louise Sonderfan; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Sonderfan and Richard Hoezee.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Heeres; his children, Gregory Heeres (Karen Rogers) and Gayle Heeres Knibbe (Peter Knibbe); his grandchildren, Alexa Heeres Hernandez (Tavo), Austin Heeres, Addisen Heeres, Gary Larson (Aimee), Sawyer Knibbe, Grant Knibbe, Ella Knibbe, Grace Knibbe and Araya Knibbe; his sister Denna Heerema (Elmer); and his sister-in-law Sally Hoezee. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
