The passing of James Bouwer (Grand Rapids, Michigan) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 19, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, James is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that James' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Bob Burggraaf. He is survived by: his wife Janet; and his daughters, Kathy Burggraaf, MaryEllen (Rick Berthiaume) and Sue (Marc Wibalda). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Rest Haven Home (1424 Union Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Rest Haven Homes (1424 Union Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505).
