He was predeceased by : his parents, Rachel "Mercer" Dawdy and Douglas Dawdy; his brother Douglas Dawdy; and his daughter Kristen Dawdy. He is survived by : his wife Joan Marie; his children, Michael McIntire (Jerlin), Kurt Dawdy (RuthAnn), Karen Pershing (Ed), Kent Dawdy (Janice) and Katie Gammon (Lance); his siblings, Douglas Eddie (Judie), Janice Gammie (Greg), Margaret Story (Ron) and Inlaw Carol Schuh (Gene); his grandsons, Jason Rodgers, Terrence Thomas of Aruba and Will Vauter of Muskegeon; his close friend Danny Tardy; and also, Jermone Glen and Erica Glen.
