He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, James "Jim" Jr. (Jan Hulett), Julie (Tim Howard), Lisa (Steve Sikkenga) and Christopher "Chris" (Erica Hulett); his great grandchildren, Ryan, Jennifer Hulett (Hannah), Mike, Brittany Hulett (Wilder), Sharayah, Michael Gariepy, Melissa, Juan Carlos Fierro, Courtney, Dave Schwarm, Jon, Kait Howard (Emerson), Matt Sikkenga, Katie, Tyler Avink (Madelyn) and Grace Hulett; his siblings, Wilma Faust, Dawn Sumners, Dwayne (Naomi Hulett), Elwyn (Cynthia Hulett), Evelyn (Glenn Wegner) and Linda (David Williaume); and his siblings-in-law, Josephine Harris, Alice, David Sorrel, Pamela Goold, William and Diane Goold. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stroo Funeral Home (1095 68th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
