He is survived by: his wife Gladys Hoogterp; his daughters, Janet Syrek (Joe) and Susan Boomgaard-Rasch (Chuck); his grandchildren, Stephanie Boomgaard, Jordan Syrek (Alyssa Spoelhof), Jared Syrek (Kori), Kyle Rasch (Johanna), Alayna Boomgaard, Anaka Boomgaard and Jonathan Syrek; his great grandchild Cooper Syrek; his siblings, John Hoogterp (Carol), Kathy Hubert (Andy) and Anne Steele (Jack); and his sisters-in-law, Judy Bennett (Jerry) and Carol Hoogterp.
