With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Zahm of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on March 24, 2024 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Zahm to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Zahm and Petronella Zahm. He is survived by : his wife Audrey Zahm; his children, Pamela Fitzner (Jonathan), Steven Zahm, Beth Margolis (Bob) and Laura Fitz (Larry); his grandchildren, Desiree' Best (Doug), Bonnie Margolis, Jaclyn Margolis, Josh Margolis, Merci Fitz and Nadia Fitz; and his sisters, Pat Schmitt and Joan (Bill). He is also survived by two great grandchildren.

Per- James's wishes he has donated his body to science and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
