As we bid Janet farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Janet is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband James; and her son-in-law Bob Burggraaf. She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Burggraaf, Mary Ellen (Rick Berthiaume) and Sue (Marc Wibalda). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes (1833 Plainfield Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Heritage Life Story Funeral Home, Vanstrien-Creston Chapel (1833 Plainfield Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505).
