We are sad to announce that on July 21, 2025, Janet M. Cok of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley Cok; her parents, Cornelius Geenen and Minnie Geenen; and her siblings, Mary, Richard and John.
She is survived by: her sons, Philip (Rhonda Cok), Don (Janice Cok), Steven (Lisa Cok) and Jim (Mary Cok); and her grandchildren, Mitchell Cok (Amber), Catherine Helphenstine (Kris), Meghan Martins (Murillo), Ben Cok, Jacob Cok (Hanna), Kristen Bryson (Sammy), Jonathan Cok (Bethany), Philip Olson (Emilie), Nina Ritchie (Matt), Adriana Bundridge (Jansen), Stephanie Cok and Eleanor Cok.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel (2800 Burton St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holland Home Foundation, Faith Hospice, or Special Olympics, causes dear to Janet's heart.
