She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold VanderLind and Dorothy VanderLind (Kersjes). She is survived by: her boyfriend Jim Hansen; her daughters, Jody Babb (Chris) and Melinda Pawloski (Seth); the father of her children Mitch Ashley; her grandchildren, Mitchell Cross (Brittany), David Ashley (Amanda), Scott Babb (Maggie), Abigail Griffin (Drew), Luke, Keturah, Naomi, Isaac, Elijah and Mattias Pawloski; and her siblings, Carol Barber (Richard), Patricia Wheeler, Gary VanderLind (Debbie), Ron VanderLind and Jeff VanderLind (Mary). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 4468 Moffett Rd NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local animal shelter or plant a flower in her memory.
