Janice Roys Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janice Roys of Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Glovick and Helen [Schrauwen] Glovick; her daughter Mary; and her brother Richard Glovick. She is survived by : her children, Lori Murphy (Don) and Mark Roys (Diane); her grandchildren, Kayleigh Sanders (David), Brendon Murphy (Victoria) and Krysta Deeb (Jason); her great grandchildren, Reagan, Walker, Kenadie, Charlotte, Jason Jr. and Violet; and her sister Kathleen Glovick. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral Mass was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM. Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes (2120 Lake Michigan Dr NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church (2230 Lake Michigan Dr NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (4100 Clyde Park Ave SW, Wyoming, MI 49509).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Ann's Home, or Emmanuel Hospice.
