He was predeceased by: his wife Margret; and his son Steven. He is survived by: his daughter Vicki VanderMeer (Bob); his grandchildren, Stephanie Dannesberger (Dave), Tricia VanderMeer and Michael VanderMeer (Amanda); and his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Elizabeth and Owen.
