It is with sadness that the passing of Jay John Visser (Grand Rapids, Michigan) is shared. Jay, born on December 2, 1939, passed away on October 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Kathi Visser; his children, Jeff (Deb Visser), Scott (Mary Visser), Mark (Kim Visser) and Shari (Ted Smith); his grandchildren, Heather, Jordan Wolfe, Chad Visser, Tara, Jordan Klein, Tanner Visser, Korey, Liz Visser, Kevin, Kendra Visser, Ashley, Austin and Andrew Smith; his great grandchildren, Kaelyn Bronkema, Sawer and Charlotte Klein; and his brother Peter Visser (Deb).
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the New Community Church (2340 Dean Lake Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
