The world bids farewell to Jean Getzen (Grand Rapids, Michigan), departing peacefully on April 20, 2024 at the age of 64. Jean leaves behind memories cherished by the community. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Carl Huggard and Diane Huggard (Kabat). She is survived by : her husband Barry Getzen; her children, Hayley Getzen (Sean Prahbu) and Phillip Getzen (Danielle Olson); her grandson Jaylen Getzen; her parents-in-law, Janice Getzen and Peter Getzen (L. Jean); her sisters, Paula Thompson (Vince), Janet Huggard and Carla Seekely (Wayne); and her siblings-in-law, Susie Getzen, Sandra Phillips (Brad), Cheree Scarantino (Dave) and Todd Getzen (Jess). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Roth-Gerst Funeral Home (305 N Hudson St SE, Lowell, MI 49331). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
