He is survived by: his family, Jeff and Dawn; his wife Dawn Vander Weele; his children, Marissa Vander Weele (Tommy Rivera), Colin Vander Weele (Anna Palmisano), Dylan Vander Weele and Karsyn Vander Weele; his father Ray Vander Weele; his mother-in-law Phyllis Palazzolo; his sister Patty Haan (Doug Haan); his nephew Colby Haan (Katy); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Enno and Walter; his nephews, Andrew Haan and Scott Haan; his niece Allison Haan; his sister-in-law Keri-Jo McCarron (Mike McCarron); his nibling Jonny Beale (Kasey Lane); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mason, Maverick, Sullivan and Keri-Jo's; his brother-in-law Jason DuBois; Joe Beale, Josh Beale, Jordi Beale, Sidney Seymour and Lee-Joseph Beale.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ada Bible Church-Knapp Campus (3869 Knapp St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
