He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; his parents, Lewis Buning and Lottie Buning; and his brother Alvin Buning. He is survived by: his children, Darryl Buning, Deb Xia, Kathy Gouvea (Gilmar), Terry Buning and Rex Buning (Lana); his siblings, Janice Triezenberg and Clinton Buning (Jean); and his siblings-in-law, Stanley Vandenboss (Judy) and Anne DeFreese. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
