He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Engle (Snyder) and James Arnold Engle; his brother Arnold Bruce; and his son Michael Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Janis Ellerton; his children, Allison Boughton (Dan), Jenny Fanning (Mike), Melissa Engle (Ric Marcus) and Jeff Engle (Kristin); his great grandchildren, Maxwell (Jill), Makailyn (Zach), Rachel, Norah, Molly, Michael, Brooks, Poppy, Caleb (Elizabeth), Abby, Teddy and Lucy; his stepmother Phyllis; and his brothers, Michael and Stephen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
