Jessie touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Jessie’s presence will be missed, the influence she had on others will remain. Those who knew her will carry forward memories that reflect her character and spirit.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dick TerMolen and Maude TerMolen (Penny); her sister Maude; her husband Art; and her children, Julie Gritter of Colorado, Donna Myers (Randy) of Georgia and David Gritter (Denise) of North Carolina. She was also cherished by eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews, especially her sister's children.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes (1833 Plainfield Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
