He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Bergman and James Bergman; and his sister Mary Crews. He is survived by: his daughter Andrea Seres (Dan); the mother of his child Noreen Pleasant; his grandsons, Isaac, Asher and Merrick Seres; his sisters, Bonnie Fischer (Mike) and Betsey Bergman; his siblings' children, Meredith Fischer, Nick Fischer and Dyllynn Crews; his brother-in-law Don Crews; his friend Tim Kelsy; and his close friend Sheila Anderson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Reyers North Valley Chapel (2815 Fuller Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Humane Society of West Michigan or the American Cancer Society.
