She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel E. Mead; her son Steven Mead; her parents, Irene McFadden and Vincent McFadden; and her siblings, Daniel, Patrick, Larry, Gordon, Victor and Gerry Ann.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Ensing (Tom), Jody Mead, Sheila Mead, John Mead, Patrick Mead and Maureen Mead; her grandchildren, Matthew Ensing (Wendy), Sarah Ensing, Daniel Mead (Sarah), Irene Mead, Frances, Sylvia Sheets, Nova, Stella Main, Dominick and Kellen Mead; and her great grandchild Edward Ensing.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A rosary will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the O'Brien-Eggebeen-Gerst Funeral Home (3980 Cascade Rd SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (1449 Wilcox Park Dr SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49506).
