She was predeceased by : her mother Stephanie Pulte; her husband James Ayotte; her father Frank B Pulte; her stepfather Fay Swann; her brother Frank; and her sister-in-law Delores Pulte.

She is survived by : her niece Jean Magin (John); her godson Frank Pulte (Kerry); her niece Yvonne Johns-Smith (Ken); her goddaughter Robin Prawdzik-White (Rick); and her close friends, June Courtright, Joan Dawdy, Phyllis Easley, Joy Jonker, Mark Pulte, Larry Ingalsbee, Caryl Sue Abendroth, Ed, Mary Ann Andrews of Kathy Schultz, RN and Dr Sam Giovannucci. She is also survived by cousins, friends, caregivers.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to either Kent County Animal Shelter or the Kid's Food Basket in memory of Joanne.
