It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnne Snell (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Snell. She is survived by: her children, Peter Welmerink (Jenny) and Terri Brieske; her grandsons, Christopher, Matthew and Aaron Welmerink; her siblings, Mary Lynn Patin (Frederik), David Robach (Ann) and Barbara Simons (Kenneth); her niece Liz; and her nephew Paul Uzarski.
As Joe's health declined throughout his battle with Alzheimer's, JoAnne was a faithful caregiver and constant source of strength.
