He was predeceased by: his mother Rose Mroz; his wife Cheryl Mroz; and his stepchildren, Jennifer, Greg and Mallory.
He is survived by: his father Stan Mroz; his children, Joshua Mroz (Amy) and Kaitlin O'Dell (Patrick); his grandchildren, Shae, Brendyn, Alex, Victoria, Kinsely, Henry, Sally, Frances, Lula and Winnie; his siblings, Sandy Velthouse (Roger) and James Mroz (Mary); and his close friend Mary Koetje. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ (151 Garfield Ave SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504).
