He was predeceased by: his parents, Beverly and John; and his stepfather Harold Lusk. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Ethan, Morgan and Ryker; his wife Karen Paulson; his children, John M. Paulson (Mary) and Jo Lynn Sodders; his siblings, Joann (Ken Steinbrecker), Kathy (Larry Miller), Chris (Larry Dorwin), Char Irish and Jim (Mary Paulson); his in-laws, Jan Vugteveen, Lynn Mikulski, Roger, David and Cindy Olszewski; his friend Mike Whalen; and his pet Leo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
