With solemn reverence, we commemorate John Leo Larson of Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose life came to an end on June 5, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Larson and Yvonne Larson (Trottier); his wife Marlene Marie Coonen; and his siblings, Dottie Westphal (Leo), Delores Dowling and Robert Larson.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven John (Sharon), Paul David (Sheri) and Scott Alan Larson; his grandchildren, Kara, Erik, Dawn (Neal), Katie, Tyler and Annelise; his great grandchildren, Jersee, Morgan, Mekala, Jewels, Damien and Teslynn; and his brother Richard Larson (Micki). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Jude Catholic Church (1120 4 Mile Rd NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525). A Mass will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
