He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine; his daughter Patricia Dys; his great grandchild Isaac Moes; and his in-laws, Ted Moes (Rose), Marcia Anema (George), Sylvia Van Zee (Gene), Florence Bolhuis (Jan), Homer Vander Mey and Bernie Dokter.
He is survived by: his children, Garry Moes (Karlinda), Peter Dys, Philip Moes (Beckie), Gloria Oostema (Jack), Paul Moes (Phyllis) and Rachael Larson (Paul); his sisters, Joanne Vander Mey and Lydia Dokter; and his in-laws, Wes Berghuis (Bev) and Harriett Berghuis. He is also survived by his 19 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
