He was predeceased by: his parents, John Modzeleski and Marie Modzeleski (Slinsky); his brother Paul Modzeleski; and his parents-in-law, Talmadge and Fern Tincher (Asher).

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Modzeleski (Tincher); his children, John Modzeleski, Cary Cumberworth and Christopher Modzeleski (Christie); his siblings, Cheryl Marsh and Jim Modzeleski (Donna); his grandchildren, Jesse, Kyleigh (Andy), Caleb, Matthew and Andrew; and his great grandchildren, Liam, Charlotte, Penelope and Margaret.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Amvets Post 1988, 1959 West 24th St., Baldwin MI 49304.
