He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter DeVries and Kathryn DeVries (Seibel); his wife Mary Jo DeVries (Donnelly); and his granddaughter Jessica Cato. He is survived by: his girlfriend Rosie Zant; his former wife Holly Palmer; his children, Debora Mehlert, Jon DeVries Jr. (Leslie), Mary Beth Erhardt and Robert DeVries (Jackie); and his stepchildren, Maureen Culp (Vaughn), Mark Donnelly (Jane), Paul Donnelly (Jessann) and Peggy Donnelly. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends.
