He was predeceased by: his son Luis Alberto Vera; his parents, Maria Isabel Vera and Andres Malave; and his siblings, Jaime Vera, Rosita Vera and Baudia Vera.
He is survived by: his wife Adelaida; his children, Jose Eliud Vera, Jimmy Vera (Juanita), Rosita Vera (Ezequiel Rodriguez), Carmen Maria Vera and David Vera; and his sister-in-law Carmen Vera. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
